So ive been looking to start and indoor grow for winter and have been having many questions which you at the grasscity have been kind enough to answer. Ive had all my questions answered so far and am looking forward to posting a journal of my grow in a few weeks but i need one last problem solved. Ive been having trouble with the lighting. I want to go with LEDs because you can get 7000+ lumens per light and the electrical cost is really cheap, but that means i'd have to wire everything which i know nothing about. I was also considering just using a bunch of spiral floros which would be alot easier. So here comes my question: what amount of lumens should you have to get about 1-1 1/2 feet of growth in 1 month for 1 plant? I read 2000 min, 5000 avrg, and 7000 for best. Just wanting your opinion, thanks.
