Im working with a growspace about 1 foot wide and 1.5 feet high, so obviously i have to keep the plant small. I definetly plan on LST'ing but i also want to start flowering as soon as possible. Whats the least amount of time or what height should it be b4 i start flowering?
Plants will double or even triple the size during flowering. If you keep the plant completely horizontal and start flower as long as all the heads stay around 4-5 inches during the start of flowering (total height including the main stem) you shouldn't have a problem. The more nodes the better but you can only keep the plant small for so long. By keeping the nodes more compact on a smaller grow is very important for yield.
