Mini Vapes - what's the best?

Discussion in 'Vaporizers' started by MrWiggles91, Feb 5, 2011.

  1. I'm shopping for a personal vaporizer. I have been leaning towards the magic flight box since it uses a rechargeable battery instead of a torch or butane.

What do you guys(and gals) prefer?

  2. We guys and gals think you need to use the search tool. Just search MFLB and your question will be answered.

  3. Hands down MFLB, I couldn't suggest anything better.

Heh, sorry. Just trying to be active on the boards.

Why thank you for your opinion :D

That seems pretty legit as well. A little more spendy but the digital qualities of it seem to be worth it.

  5. my girlfriend got me a vapir oxygen mini for my birthday, got a wall adapter and a battery pack for on the go, super stealthy and completly silent, check it out.

  6. MFLB all the way... I can't wait til I get mine.

  7. To the OP. Stay FAR away from anything made by Vapir. They have more negative reviews than any other vaporizer on the market.

  8. Yep, Lwien is spot on. Vapir products are... crap.

Look into the MFLB, the best for portability/stealth.

btw, I own one so Im not saying this from only reading(though I could!)

  9. The vote seems pretty unanimous :D

  10. Yeah I'm gonna agree with them. The MFLB as a bit of a learning curve since it has no temperature setting (which leads to the several people who will tell you it doesn't work since they've only tried using it once), but once you get the hand of getting the temperature right its stealthy, extremely portable (barely thicker and much smaller than a cell phone), and very efficient. One of the best smoking (or should I say non-smoking) investments I've made.

  11. Def non smoking, remember that you dont SMOKE from a VAPORizer!

And EVERY vape has a learning curve!! Every single one of em!! Some just have more then others.

  12. Get a light bulb :D best technology evar
    mflb ftw

  13. Mystical Journey Throw Cube.

  14. Just got back from buying a MFLB :)

Definitely happy so far, just gotta get the hang of using it lol. Seems a bit odd being all I have used as far as vapes is a volcano. Are the heating elements the rails on either side of the trench? Any tips or tricks for optimal smokage? :D

  15. DONT SMOKE! You are going to fuck up your unit!!

Be careful that you are not vaping too hot, watch the color of the herb.
No, the trench is not where the heating element is, thats just the 'bowl' part.

Make sure your herb does not scorch in certain areas, after every hit, flip the box over, tap it and skake it up to stir the herb for a more even vape.

Does yours have the O ring around the trench and the battery pushback ring?

As far as I can tell thats the case. The biggest thing you have to get used to is that when you pull harder, the vapor gets less harsh, which is a bit counter-intuitive. The best advice I can give is find the pressure where the vapor just burns your throat and pull slightly quicker than that. I'm sure you'll get the hang of it pretty quickly. Congrats on your new vape!

And this is very important to getting everything out of each trench load.

  17. How can I tell if it's too hot? I mean, I barely feel the vape anyway lol.

It has an O ring and I can only assume it has the battery push back thingy since the battery is kinda hard to push in.

Right on. Anyway to get bigger rips than I am? It just feels like im doing something wrong :/
    But thank you!

  18. The biggest problem people have is pulling too hard (which is probably the case if you can barely feel the vapor). Make sure you're taking slow and steady hits. And expect it to take a bit longer (time wise) to get stoned than from smoking, since you're getting the chemicals out of the herb more gradually.

Yeah, draw rate is prolly your problem. The best way I've been able to describe it to new people is the rate you would drink a hot chocolate through one of those little straws, nice and slow. idk, sounds weird but that the best way i've been able to think of.

I usually take good 10-20 second hits and hold it for a good 10-15 seconds.

If your inhaling at the end of your hit exhale just a bit and see if you can see any vapor, you should be able to see some if your doing it right. although you exhale twords a light or something cuz sometime it's hard to see the vapor in a darker lit room.

if your using good stuff you should be able to taste it too. :yummy:

Also, the finer you can grind your stuff up, the better it will vape. Usually after 3-4 hits on a fresh trench a regrind the trench and it usually breaks up smaller. Then repack the trench and it vapes up almost nicer than the first hit.

hope this helps. Once you get the hang of it you'll love it man. :D

You have to hold the battery down the entire hit, until right before you clear the vapor at the end of the hit, AFTER you have removed battery contact.
Look in through the mouthpiece, the light means its on, push the battery in and make sure the light is steady. Waiting too long after it has started heating(it starts as SOON as the battery makes contact, so be extra careful since it heats up so fast) OR pulling too slow can contribute to teh risk of combustion.

DO NOT take too long to hit it after the battery has made contact, no more then 5 seconds. But dont start hitting it as soon as it goes on, you wont get a good hit, wait a few seconds but no more then 5, be careful or you may burn or scorch it.

Are you even reading my posts??! I said to watch the color of the herb, and be sure to stir it after every hit.

    Check fuckcombustion.com for more info.
