mini greenhouse

  1. does anyone put a glass cover over thier plants during the early stages, such as a small glass or jar over each palnt to create a small greenhouse to trap moisture?

is there at all any advantages to doing this?

  2. greenhouse effect....search it

  3. Some say yes, some say no. Try it on a plant and compare the differences with one that you don't. It would be a nice little experiment. Post the results.

  4. I've put little plastic-baggie hoods over my sprouts before. It works alright. You have to give 'em air though, like poke a small hole in the baggie and also take the bag off once a day. Just to prevent too much moisture. But otherwise it works well to keep the soil and fragile sprout from drying up.

  5. Clones feed foliar for the first few days green housing proves to be a success.
