Mini Gravity Bong Help

    So 2 days ago for my friend's birthday, I got him a mini portable glass gravity bong. We used it yesterday but we were having a lot of trouble using it correctly. We had to use a small torch to get the bowl lit enough (a regular lighter wasn't working). And when we got the thing filled with smoke finally, we again had a lot of trouble clearing it.

    All you're supposed to do is push the middle part that's filled with smoke down into the water and the smoke is supposed to be pushed up into your mouth/lungs right? I don't have the piece with my right now, but I'll post a pic soon.

    You don't have to push it down to clear it. Exhale to get some breath and then inhale that shit.

    I don't know what the problem is with lighting it.
