  1. Hey there I'm looking into buying this Mini Fridge pre built on Ebay for a small hidden grow.

    - 90w quad-band (red, orange, blue and white) "UFO" LED grow light
    - Odor Sok carbon filter
    - 6 Plant Deep Water Culture/Aeroponic Hydroponic System
    - General Organics Go Box Nutrient and Supplement Kit

    Measurements - 20.5"Wx 21"Lx31"H 4.6cu ft

Link to Ebay listing - HERE.

Theirs also Youtube video's of the Hydro system unit (Using CFL's in video though I'll have LED's) - HERE.

Please let me know if this is a good investment for a nice concealed grow. Also could I grow six plants at a time in here, or should i go with 3-4 to leave room for them to grow? Thanks a bunch! :bongin:

  2. Way over priced and the seller doesn't even mention the nm range on the spec and that's key to using led.

The lamp is probably 1w diodes too..

Avoid it and make your own for much cheaper.

Unless your the seller and spamming the site ;)

  3. I don't really care about it being over priced, i can deal with up to an $800 price range. So your saying the light that he's sending out is no good? I think iv seen other people using the same one in their grown on this forum. I'm not very handy ... i could see it turning into a disaster, that's why i'm looking into purchasing something.

I didn't say he is selling shit UFOs I'm saying he hasn't even listed the spec.

Most premade cabs/tents etc are made of shit just for quick resale.
If it was a reputable led stockist they should list the spec of the lamp as that's all that count when dealing with led.

All ufos look the same and FTR I use led in my tent.

It's your call as its your cash but why buy something that you don't know will produce anything. I'm not being negative more constructive.

You could build one your self and know what your buying for a lot cheaper.

  5. Darn ... well thanks a lot for your opinion and information. Is their a good guide for setting up something like this that you know of?

  6. The best thing to do is read a lot and follow led grows if that's your lamp choice.

Avoid 1w diodes and the nm range has to be spot on for success.

Sit down with google for a while. I used cfl before and have been growing for years now an I read for 6months plus before deciding what to get.

There's a fine line between good and shit with led, where as hid/mh/cfl etc a bulbs a bulb.
