He's a lifelong criminal, starting in street gangs and criminal activities in his youth. He'd offer to carry packages for old ladies, if they said yes he'd wait until they were alone to beat and rob them. He's been convicted of rape, nearly bit a man's ear off in the ring, and a lot more. Professional boxing is a rough business, and many boxers have been at fault for various things, some of them very serious, but this man is just too fucked up. He's not fooling anybody with his apologies.
I fail to see why any of that means he shouldn't be allowed to put on boxing gloves and beat the sense out of some chump for money. If he has been convicted of anything and served his sentence he owes nobody an apology. I think Mike is a deep dude from what I have seen of him and im glad to see him trying to help himself
