Well, I am planning on attempting to grow outdoors for the first time, and because it is my first time I do not want to buy expensive seeds. I have a lot of "mids" seeds saved up and I was wondering, If I grow it correctly and use all the right techniques, is it possible to get some quality herb from this? What should I expect?
If grown well, your end product will probably be better than what the seeds came from. Even the best strains grown like crap will turn out like crap... so who knows what you have. I wouldn't expect anything really good, though.
Bagseed is the best way to learn hands down. It's a lot easier to throw away a bad first attempt if you didn't spend 30 bucks on it. To answer your question, yes, if you care for it you will get good stuff. While it's true some strains are less potent than others, all of them are green (and maybe a few other colors if you're lucky haha). You can do 2 things to ensure you don't get mids: 1: Don't let your plants get pollinated. Once they do, they'll stop producing THC and start focusing on seeds. 2: Dry and cure it properly: Drying too quick leads to harsh smoke, and a lot of merch isn't even cured. The biggest difference between cured and uncured bud is taste. If you don't want your bud to taste like mids, cure it. Of course, that's assuming you grow it properly. If you're an absolute beginner I suggest you read the first guide in my sig.
Thanks for the quick responses, im glad I do not have to worry about buying high-quality seeds now. Im gonna do some more research and then try my luck with these.
