its been in the ground since july 1st. there are 3 of them in this picture, i had a fourth but a deer ate it for a snack. im not sure why they arent showing sex if anyone could tell me. picture was taken tonight (dark if u cant tell)
ive had some sativa dom plants i started in april with no signs yet.........so dont feel bad my white widows are flowering like crazy but not the bagsees sativas or indicas........
on the contrary, ive experienced males before females. i always end up pullin males before even really seeing signs of females. and its been the same this year as well as my other years growing but i am also not growing all the same strains. i wouldnt worry about it. i still have almost all of mine not showing sex yet.
I avoid sativa dominant strains, since I got given some for free and by mid Sptember they were still vegging. When I was near to harvesting my WW.
I have five babies showing sex for weeks now but no bud visible yet. Should there be some bud by now? They have been growi since may now
Easy fellas. The girls know what to do and when they need to do it by.Sounds like you have late strains, but thanks to the good fellas in the oil industry and a multitude of gaseous bovine, the first freeze is coming later than ever. They'll finish--have faith!
Someones wrong. Whats up with everyone being all worried about there plants maturing this year? Just let them grow, theyll do what they want to do until theyre done.
the main reason im worrying is because i transplanted them and they went pretty droopy for a few days and came back to life healthier than ever but im afraid the shock hurt them. im in NH btw
you think so? im in New england too and im worried about my purple powers finishing. later than ever you say? where are you and when do you get frosts?
I grew up in Maine and I don't live too far south of there now. Do your homework. You have a computer--get on a weather site and find out when the average first frost is in your area. Simple. But what difference does it really make to the plant? Now is the time to be keeping track of how the strain behaves. Observe and learn. And accept the possibility that you may have chosen a strain that won't do well in your area. Learn from that and choose next year's seed according to the unique qualities of your local climate and grow spot. You'll see buds very soon. Whether or not they can go all the way to optimal ripeness before frost is another story altogether. In my area we didn't get a frost until very, very late last year-- and the year before and the year before and the year before. Be easy.
yeah i do my homework man trust me. but sometimes its good to get other perspectives on things you know. plus i am not as hands on experienced as many people on here cuz its only my 2nd year growing.
yeah this is my first year growin just to learn for next summer. im growin mystery seeds my friend got from his rich dad. im expecting they must be something good but could be anything. all i know is that my plant is mostly a sativa
I can't think of a better way to learn Cavalier. You pay closer attention if you don't expect a certain thing to happen. But once the trial run is over I would advise you to not fuck around with dubious seed stock. You don't have to buy from seed banks, but it is in your best interest to have some knowledge of your plant's genetic heritage. It helps you plan all the details of your crop.
well still no white hairs ... the plant does have a strong smell to it for no buds tho. my hands smell from touching it. id say they are quite healthy i just really wish they'd bud soon
Well they look healthy cavalier. They'll start budding soon. I still have one plant that hasn't really started budding yet. I have some others that just started last week. Then I have some others that began budding the second week of july. Each strain is different, and sometimes individual plants seem to want to do their own thing. I bet you see pistils within a week. Keep the faith brother--it'll happen.
Maybe a stupid question but are there any light leaks like steetlights cars or houselights? Do you visit at night with a flashlight? The picture you posted is with a flash, so I was just wondering if something was distubing the dark period. Hope they start soon for you.
Some of my plants are over seven feet with no sign of anything yet, Mandala Safari mix, white widow x kalichukra, sativa dom. Just transplanted outdoor July 4th weekend durring remodel. They grew 1-.5 2 in per day. Live in Northern Oregon desert
