anyone else in southern Michigan noticing you’re plants are about 2-3 weeks ahead of schedule?? I’ve talked with some local growers and they’ve noticed the same thing. My plants are in direct sunlight all day, they haven’t been stressed what so ever. We must be getting an early fall?? Please let me know if you have noticed anything. Thanks
Mine had some drought stress and I had them under 24 hour light inside, but yeah I'm getting similar results this year. Some may be re vegging right now. Last year they didn't miss a beat. Next year I think I will spray them with L-amino acids (protein hydrolysate) for quick nitrogen when I put them outside. Weather has been weird this year is what I have been blaming, if I'm blaming.
Yes I agree. I am thinking the weather as well. But to be honest I am only growing gorilla glue #4 this year and in the growers notes it says this plant loves to be dry which is weird cause it’s been very dry lol. The humidity hasn’t been to bad, up until recent with this heat wave. I experimented with that black landscape fabric to control the weeds and then I put a nice layer of straw all around to help with moisture retention. I thought maybe I was over watering trying to compensate for the dry weather, but the plants have been thriving I was just a little bummed out cause i was able to start my clones early and have everything prepped ahead of schedule this year and then we get this lol. I’m not too worried on the bright side we should be ready to rock mid September.
I also ran 24 hours inside. Usually a around May 15 I bring them outside during the day for a few days and let them get used to some natural light, and in my experience if light was the issue they will show sings much earlier then now so I’m thinking weather or early fall.

Go Michigan... We need to put together a Michigan growers thread It's as been very wet this year. I dont remember a rainier year ever. In the capital area. We only had 8 days of full sun light in the month of May. I and my wife are lic for 24 plants on our MMMP cards. I run 18/6 and was full outside by the 5th of May. This spring. I used t5 lights to extend the day light to 16 hours at lest. Some day's this spring I had to run the lights all day because it was so overcast and dark for so many days in a row. First let me say I do light depth in my big cage. There's 13 strains in the big cage. Another 4 auto strains. Plus another 7 photos in waiting for flowering in the small cage. I'll be harvesting the 1st crop around August 10th. Pics Today in mid Michigan
Well I live in the nasty ass UP of MI and noticed now my plants are in a stall, similar to what happened when I did the light switch on indoor crop. Thinking I'm going to see the stretch starting this week, other then feeding 3x a week I haven't had to water at all. Too much rain up this way, looks like a week of storms them a temp drop into the mid 70s. Just sexed the 6 seedlings, 2 were male, and now at just about 30in tall there showing a preflower, this is fine by me knowing I have only till end of Sept to 1st week of Oct before its nasty here again.
Wow very impressive autos. I’ve never had the best luck with autos. I’d he curious to know what the out of them? “Average”
Autos are ok... I'm not a big fan of them. But I'm sponsored to run some autos for Humboldt seed organization. So they sent me OG Kush Auto and the Lemon juice Express Auto. I'm running them both. I like the Lemon juice Express better. it's a very nice plant I would grow in again. I expect to get about 2 ounces off this plant. I'm growing It Outdoors organically like I am. But if a person was to grow an outdoors auto. I would germ about the last weekend in May and get started around the 1st of June so she can have full daylight by the solstice 6/21. I also would bottle-feed it. With some good nutrient line. Then it would probably do much better and maybe produce maybe 4 ounces. Or better yet do her inside. In a RDWC with C02 under 4100k 630 CMH light. It would give you all she could then. Hell I bet it would do real good in soil coco mix and bottle-fed. Outside or in
This summer wasnt all that. I brought mine out in the spring and one of my big girls went imto flower. I didnt stop her. Ended up harvesting almost 6oz in july and now shes revegging beautifully, may get another 6. Another mich grow. 4 are "the white" 1 is bruce banner/trainwreck (never seen so many trichomes) you guys are making Mi. proud. Sent from my VS995 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Here in the UP it's been so shitty wet and cold at nights I pulled all 8 of mine inside, there a lot happier inside I would say, looking at least 6 to 8 weeks until there done but 4 are just peaking 5ft, other 4 are 3 to 5 ft. Going to be a hell of a time trimming though.
