Michigan Medical Question

Discussion in 'Medical Marijuana Usage and Applications' started by buthidae, Jan 22, 2010.

  1. Been doing a lot of research lately, and found that there area few states that allow mmj for asthma. However, I have not been able to find out anywhere if mmj is prescribed for asthma in Michigan. Does anyone know if it is? Thanks everyone for your input.

  2. Not directly. But I believe some are getting it indirectly.

    Does your medicine cause nausea?
    Does the conditions involve spasms?

Either of those two would do it.

  3. Thanks for the response.

Using the meds regularly makes them less likely to work when needed, but doesn't cause nausea.

I've read that asthma is caused by a seizure, or spasm, of the muscles around the bronchial tubes, but can't get a straight answer if this would make it qualify or not.

I've been taking it for asthma for years, and haven't had to use an inhaler at all until my girlfriend moved in with her cats, so I know it works. Now it's just a matter of trying to get it legally.
