How much faster would you say a plant would veg under a MH compared to an HPS? I have two tents right now both vegging under their own 600w hps lights. One tent seems behind if I switch in a MH bulb do you think it will catch up?
Hps has way more lumens but they tend to stretch plants. Mh makes them nice and big and bushy. I use a combo I use mh to veg and hps for flower
Hps has more lumens but the Mh has a much more usable spectrum I am flowering with a 7200k 1000 watt Mh shit is huge 4 feet tall 3 feet wide with so many bud sites you can see into the canopy, on another site this debate is going on some people have claimed 20% more weight with the Mh.
General rule of thumb is Mh for Veg. HPS for Flowering. Many people like to do a mix of the two though.
