I recently got a couple lumatek 600's,upgrades from my magnetic 400's. I was wondering if it would be worth getting the MH conversions for the veg. I've read that you can veg with HPS just fine. I've always veggged with MH and flower with HPS. If you have vegged with both HPS and MH let me know your experience. Thanks in advance.
MH is better for vegetative growth because it keeps the plants bushy and compact. You can veg plants just fine under HPS but they will stretch more. People say that their plants grow faster when they veg under HPS but it's only because they're stretching more.
