Hi all, I'm trying to get a 400W MH lamp for my veg. room and, as far as I know, the lamp should have a color temperature in between 6000K and 6800K... but all the lamps that I can get are in between 4000K and 5000K... I need to know what should I expect with one of this lamps (between 4000 and 5000K). Thanks!
for veg a 4000k is ideal actually. I use Ceramic Metal Halides that are 4000k and they really do a great job of keeping the plants healthy and really making the nugs frost over way more than they would otherwise. CMH puts off a good amount of UVB which would be why it does that.
