What do you guys think of this? I mean it looks like a great idea but is it proven? Droppin 160 for a bulb makes me want to know if it'll put out. Oh and I found it on htgsupply.com
You can't beat full spectrum light. At that price for just a bulb, though, I would wonder about getting just a MH bulb and then adding a completely separate HPS light kit (or buy the HPS bulb and get a separate MH kit, whichever way works out best with the equip you have now).
i think i seen those bulbs at my local nursery they are mh/hps in one correct. i saw i think a 400W one for around $60 but i dont have a clue what kind of fixture you would need to power it. but it does seem like a good concept the brand i saw was by agrosun
From what HTG says it looks like you can just use an HPS ballast for it. And damn 60 bucks? I'd buy that in a heartbeat. Looks like I'll have to do a comparative grow with a buddy of mine with hps and mh seperate against the hybrid

Hi ... Is that $160 for just the bulb or for the entire setup (ballast, reflector, & bulb)? I couldn't find the bulb on HTG. What wattage are these bulbs? thx
