HI i have a question i have a t5 setup consisting of 653 watts total pretty good results have been achieved i recently picked up a 250 watt mh lamp should i take out my 2x2 8 tube pioneer from the top put in the mh and run some side and under lighting would this give me better results than all fluros i want to have my top light a mh and fluros on sides and the bottom this is in a 3x3 secrect jardin tent any comments concerns. i want to use the mh to save on watts im running two light set ups one is 192 watt and the other is 324w not to mention the others that add up to 653 watts ttl.
MH bulbs have a lower luminous efficiency than HO T5s. Therefore, replacing more wattage of T5 with less wattage of MH will give you significantly worse results.
any other opinions not sure on the lumens of the t5 set ups right this sec but the mh bulb states 22000 lumens?
