mh and hps

    Would it make the plants buds bigger and better if you used MH for vegitation and then hps on the flowering cycle?

    possibly, but only a small amount. I think straight hps would be best.

    yeah but HPS all the way is still the cheapest and easiest route.

    the new "envirolites" are cool you can get them with a full red spectrum or full blue , they have a built in ballest so you can plug them straight into a wall socket and hang them vertically amongst your plants , thay give of very little heat,
    not 100% on there use as a total grow , but for supplementry lighting they work great.

    mh is great for the veg state which in turn will give you more bud spots then go to hp or even better run them both

    i have found that using a MH for vegging will prevent some of the stretching you get with vegging under HPS..and yes the plant tends to be a little fuller ..then switch to HPS for flowering..happy growing.
