MG Bloodmeal

  1. So I'm sure someone has asked about this b4 but I don't really have time to research it right now. All I can find around here is MG bloodmeal. I noticed that it was not meant to be used on "container" plants and there was no instuctions for mixing with water. I'm guessing cuz of the time release N. Is there anyway to prep it to use with water? I'd appreciate any tips.

  2. It is always better to use blood meal as a mix with the initial soil. It is a great nitrogen fertilizer. You can mix it with water, but I have never used it that way with bud though I have with tomatoes. I would do about 2 tbsp/gallon, half that if your plants are less than a month old.

Try to find some fish emulsion, it works much better in water.

  3. Thx 4 the advice. How much (dry) should I use for 8" pots?

  4. I'm not sure about your pot but it goes by volume. For every gallon of soil I add 3 tbsp and mix before the initial watering (dry soil only and mix well).
