MFLB grinder

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by Deriv, Oct 5, 2010.

  1. Hi, I ordered my MFLB a few days ago:D and I was wondering if the grinder that comes with it is ok to use. I know metal shavings are extremely bad for your health. If it isn't good is there a grinder I could get that isn't a $100 space case? I just want the cheapest grinder possible that wont put my health at risk.

  2. The one that comes with the MFLB looks like the same construction as the one I use regularly. I don't think you'll have anything to worry about.

Thing about it, though, it's very very small. You can probably just grind enough weed in it for one trench in the MFLB, which means you'll be grinding a lot. I'd recommend you get a larger size four piece with the kief catcher. I got a really nice one at the head shop for thirty bucks. You don't need to spend a hundred on a high end one.

  3. Any reccomended headshops? I live in the salt lake area aswell

  4. Check out chromium crusher, I would buy online as headshops jack up the prices ten fold.

  5. Yea i was looking at the chromium crusher but ive read quite a few threads where people say they get shavings.

  6. get a coffee grinder

  7. mflb grinder is fine for using with the mflb. it grinds like 2-3 mflb bowls at a time

  8. I have the aerospace grinder that you can get with the MFLB if you get it from vapeworld. If that's the grinder you're talking about then you're set.

  9. Oh yeah, brother, Smoker's Guru. There's one on Redwood Road directly across the street from the Community College, and there's another one on State St like 1400 south or so on the west side. Ask for a good deal because they have room to haggle.

  10. Yea i stopped at smokers guru on redwood but the guy wanted 35 for a pretty dope pipe but wouldnt even go down to 30 when i said all i had was 30. I think i will just stick with the grinder i get with the MFLB and maybe in a month or so buy a 2 piece space case for $25. Hopefully my MFLB comes tomorrow cuz im fiending to try it after reading the 5 million awesome reviews it got.:D

  11. first off we need to make sure which grinder you have. if its the small 2 piece then i have heard that it is great. if its the 4 piece with kief collector that thing is trash. i got it with my box. it grinds like shit and the finish of it is terrible. there are shavings of aluminum all around the edges of everything, better hope you screw it on perfectly straight right of the bat otherwise there go a trillion shards of aluminum in the container. theres a reason you can get a kief collector for free with it. because hey cant give them away for free.

  12. Electric Grinder "Power Muler" - English - Grasscity.com

I got that in the mail today and put it to use. I'd have to say it worked pretty well..though if you're grinding just small nugs you may have to shake it, but it got everything ground up nicely.

The finer it is really makes a difference with the MFLB, 1 hit gave me a pretty damn good buzz

  13. Well, try the one downtown then. The guy there said the prices are different between the two places. He also gave me a 10% off card out of the blue.

Anyway, if you don't dig SG then there's Aztec Highway on 33rd So. and Main I think it is. But if you thought SG's prices were high then you'll drop your teeth at AH, they are through the roof. There's a couple more little head shops on 33rd So. going east. I been in one but I couldn't tell you which one it was. They were most cool.

Seems to me like SG has the best selection and best prices, but if you find someplace better, let me know. I'm on a mission to visit all the headshops in the valley at least once :)
