MFLB decarb?

Discussion in 'Cannabis & Weed Edibles: Cooking & Recipes' started by highpothesis, Mar 26, 2012.

  1. Technically, doesn't the mflb decarb the weed, provided you seal any hole? Or is the heating element too close to the weed to properly decarb it?

  2. Eh, a little bit. Which is why you can eat vaped weed and get high. You won't get that high, but you will. It's still better to decarb it again if you plan on using it to cook with or something.

  3. As a side note, when I went to go decarb my weed for some edibles the other day, I didnt seal the weed, just left it to dry up a bit. I put it in a toaster oven at 200 f for 10 minutes. Did I fuck up by not sealing?

  4. I'm not sure what you mean by sealing it lol. How did the edible turn out? Did you get high or no?

  5. In the decarb process I've heard many people seal the weed in a ceramic container of some sorts and tightly place aluminum foil over the dish to create a sealed container. I left the weed on an aluminum foil covered tray to decarb
And I haven't finished making them yet. I'm clarifying it later today, but I don't want to go through that much effort if I fucked up with the decarb

  6. Ohh, I'm sorry I don't really know. :(
