Meteor shower tonight?

    I heard from a friend there is a possible meteor shower coming tonight, that might me visible. I have never seen one before, so i was looking to blaze up and watch it. Anyone know if it will be visible in the U.S.? If so, what time would be the best to see it?

    it says august 12-13 and its the 11th

    to actually see these should i just watch the night sky or do i need a telescope or some shit?

    Best viewing on the west coast of USA will be at 4-5 AM. On the 12th or 13th.

    i have seen many meteor showers can be extreemly beautiful!!!
    you dont need a telescope prob miss more than you would see without one becouse they are going to be all over the sky usualy more so in one direction or another depending on where you are on the planet
    the best place to watch from is out in the sticks away from the city away from lights of any kind!!! the darker the better! sit back toke up stair out and enjoy!!!!
