Metalhead smokers?

Hello, I am HailChickenWing, purveyor of quality metal to MoogleKexin. Hatebreeder actually is the member with the Dissection avatar. In fact, it was him who convinced me to buy SotLB. What bands are you into Satanic?

 

Im a metalhead... black and power metal mostly... dissection rules.

 

I saw cryptopsy here in my hometown... they were nuts, amazing drummer. He soloed for like 5 mins, it was insane!

 

I pentagram metal. More of a fan of black and death metal myself, but listen to all of it. My favorite bands right now include king diamond, slayer, emperor, marduk, the haunted, suffocation, dark tranquility, lamb of god, dying fetus, borknagar, and many, many others. any of you go to ozzfest? I went there this year (2004) and it was awesome. Too bad there were so many nu-metal acts though. The first half of the day was almost all of that crap. Imho judas priest stole the show, their set was awesome.

 

This is great! I remember the days when metalheads on this forum were a pretty small minority, but the times seem to be changing! It would take me way too long to list out all my favourite bands, spanning power, black, death, grind, thrash, heavy, prog and most subsidiary forms of metal too. Today at college though, I've been listening to Ensiferum and Blind Guardian mostly.

 

I'm a metalhead, as well as a punk, and I'm a big fan of classic rock as well. Havn't been to the city in quite a while tho.

and, you gotta remember, most of the time if the single sucks, the album will suck.

maybe jail fucked him up...

 

I managed to get a 25 second clip of the new single with my 56k connection and it does sound quite different, but I wouldn't want to form an opinion on 25 seconds of music.

 

i'm really liking krisiun at the moment... at the gates, dying fetus, kataklysm, in flames, iron maiden, blarg tooooooo many to mention... i'm also really into punk though... and jazz... and ambient electronica stuff... TOOO MUCH MOOOSIC !!!

 

slayer, old metallica, megadeth, anthrax (i have scott ian's guitar pick), ozzy pantera, etc. metal, basically.

 

Metal and smoking are among my favorite things!

 

All those gigs sound like they'd be killer! I missed out on seeing Suffocation last summer 'cos the promoter didn't make sure the band could actually do the gig before selling tickets.

 

Any of you all like the christraping black metal band, Marduk? I just heard their new album (plague angel) and it is awesome. I saw some pictures of them in atlanta in the 90s, and I hope that they will return some day. I would have a wargasm.
