Wassup peoples thanks for opening. but i got a question and i need help. i got a 80 gb ps3 and to me metal gear solid is the shit. i got mgs4 and i beat the 1 2 nd 3 but there is a collection out call Metal Gear Solid Essential Collection it is the 1 2 and 3 in one. I wanna get this but i wanna know if it will work on my 80 gb ps3 and if any of you have this and have anything to let me know before i go out and get this. or whether i should get it. hows it workin for you?? thanks for your time
If you have the older 80gb model I do believe that it would work but im not 100% sure. The new 80gb models do not support it though. If you have any other ps2 games try it out and see if it works, if they do work the metal gear solid series will most likely work as well.

I have the essential collection, I used to own the originals but you know what happens when you have irresponsible friends, it never comes back to you. But anyway, I have a 60gb, but I am more than positive that it will work on your 80gb. but you said you beat mgs1,2,3 already? do you already own copies of the game? if so you're basically just buying the same games again, except the fact that mgs 2 and 3 are the subsistance ver its worth your cash if you're into those bonus materials and what not. mgs3 in the essential collection doesnt come with the 2nd disc with the classic metal gear games though
yea i beat them but they dissapeared. its cool but i juss checked if my local game store had them and the nearest store with the game in an hour drive awayl
