metal bowl vs glass

    i heard that a metal bowl will burn the weed slower and get more hits than a glass bowl is that tru i like smoking out of glass more but just wondering

    I don't know if that's true or not, but my proto-pipe is way more efficient than my glass. Though that could be due to the cover that gets slid over after every hit.

    that may or may not be true but smoking out of metal is way worse for you then glass as glass is non reactive and whatnot...something about alzheimer's so i'd steer clear

    As far as i know a bowl's efficiency is dependant upon its design. The only thing with metal vs glass in terms of pipes is that with glass you give up the durability of metal for heat resistance and vice versa

    I think the alzheimer's argument is a moot point since it seems that cannabis is the cure for alzheimer's...

    metal bowls are gross and taste awful compared to glass.

    i dont like metal bowls because when you're stoned after smoking out of them, you go to empty the ash in an ashtray and you burn your fingers!


    then you get more stoned and try to avoid the same mistake again, so try and tap the ash into the ashtray by just holding the entire bong and tilting it. THEN, you spill bong water everywhere. it's a horrible catch 22. which is why i prefer glass LOL


    plus, glass is classier. and it leaves a nice browny resin pattern, whereas in metal bowls the effect is wasted. i'm talking clear glass btw
