So I got my clones and put them in my cabinet with my 400watt mh and 0 ventilation and left it on overnight...needless to say it was way too hot and when I opened it up my leaves were crispy and nearly dead.I have all the ventilation hooked up and running now. What, if anything can I do to bring them back.. or is it too late now... thanks in advance for the help
u should probably start all over.. they could come back with help... but u would be able to tell that it wasnt worth it considering you would have bad stunted growth, the bud would reflect off of that (yield wise) and ya. just start over.
it most probably is too late, but lucky for you MJ grows like a weed, so if you want to try to salvage your plants(no guarantees), i would suggest leaving the light as high as possible and keep it pretty humid, temps about 23C and RH about 70, dont overwater your plants while the humidity is that high, keep the conditions like this for a few days and see what happens, if your lucky theyll sprout back up..
Ok don't fret! This happened to me about one month ago. First off, did your clones come from under a CFL? or where they already under a MH or HPS? The reason I ask this, is because if they were use to CFL's. Then you need to slowly adjust then to the power of your 400 watt MH. By keeping it above average height from the plant. Slowly lowering it an inch everyday. This is a photo of a Purple Dragon clone. I was not told that it was use to CFL's! Then I go and throw it under a 1000 watt HPS. LOL! Like it was already stated, don't over water! I ended up cutting off almost all the burnt or dead leaves. As you can see, it looks like a green stick in the mud. Within one month, of just normal watering and nothing else. It became this: I like to call her my Frankenstein plant! I wish you luck!
Ok thank you for the tips.I cut off the burnt leaves and have been misting the ones that are there....how often and how much should I water it right now
I never mist my plants. But than again I am not a professional. I would think with it being a clone, I would wait until their is about one inch of dry soil on top. Just stick your finger in the dirt. If it almost goes up to your second joint in your finger before your feel moisture, than I would water it. This is what I did. And I think my pictures speak for themselves.
i might be seriously mistaken.. but frankenstein looks a lil bit yellow ! id be checkin the ph on that with all the new growth being .. well ... bright freakin yellow ... idk.... i mean if you were cutting it down tomorrow that would be almost normal.. but damn... she sure is bushy... maybe im missing something.. good luck bro
It is the light in the photo. I will take a current picture in about an hour when the light come on. But good idea! I have never checked my ph. I'll post pic when I have it!
