I picked up some flowering lights for my flower room and the guy (graciously) gave me this little Mercury OG. The only problem? I don't have any mh lights. Picking them up in a couple days. So it's under a 1000w HPS with hood. With the doors shut it stays in the 70s, but I'm not sure what an HPS does during veg -- I just know it's not ideal. Also, I wasn't prepared for vegging just yet so I had to jimmy rig stuff together and throw it in a shed. So the plant had apparently been on hour 2 of it's 18 hour cycle -- then he gives it to me -- then I don't get it under the light for two hours. It was looking pretty wilted but it seemed to respond well to the light. Is it incredibly crucial that I have a MH light for it tomorrow? Or will a few days under an HPS not do much harm? I am learning as I go -- not ideal but I got diagnosed and pushed into chemo a lot faster than I'd expected so I'm working with the knowledge I've got (and am keep getting, hopefully). So feel free to give me any tips or pointers. I'm anticipating many mistakes ahead. I'm currently trying to figure out how much water to give her and how often. I've heard of many newbs drowning their plants so I'm not wanting to follow that road. He said she's been vegging for about a week. My flower room should eventually have about 3000w -- but I'll start with 1000w and add as I get more plants.
