Mephisto Double grape auto

Discussion in 'Indoor Grow Journals' started by Clearsky, Sep 9, 2023.

  1. Can't stand not having anything to do, I could do anything I want but I want to take care of a plant, so I'm going to grow a mephisto auto double grape in coco because I like to be hands on everyday and coco needs to be feed every day with 20 percent run off.
So I got a seed in a rapid rooter plug in a one liter air pot.
After couple of weeks will transplant to 3 gallon air pot to finish it out.
Will use master blend 3 parts from start to finish.

It will all be good, I'm going to start getting out in the woods and start doing a little brush clearing.

Well the little one popped so I got something to take care of so right now this little seedling will be getting 200 ppm of feed every day with 20 percent run off until transplant to 3 gallon air pot. 16942930481347092944770738209115.jpg

  7. Nice, congrats.

  8. This journal will show that you can transplant a auto and it will still perform well.
You hear all kinds of information about autos don't transplant because it will stunt growth or don't top them.
But in this journal all these things will take place and even super cropping if needed.
A auto still needs 8 weeks for flowering just like a photo, only difference is that the auto can receive more hours of light and still flower. So don't need to cut hours back to 12/12

  9. That's a great choice! You've got a solid plan with the rapid rooter plug and air pots. Master Blend is a good choice too.

  10. Thanks, with the master blend 3 parts you don't have any problems with magnesium or calcium deficiencies in coco because the master blend 3 parts has calcium nitrate and epsom salts for magnesium. And mixed in RO water P H comes out around 5.5 to 5.7 and in a week will drift to 6.1 which works well in coco.

  11. when you use the rapid rooters I assume just put your seed in it to germinate? Nothing else but where do you place your rooters? I'm glad to see you back man

  12. I place my rapid rooter in my 1 liter air pot with coco all around it like the picture above with plant sprouting.
You can also use the rapid rooters by themselves in a tray that holds them and after sprouting place them in your growing material.

  13. Thanks bud I was wondering exactly what you are saying about what to do with the rooters

  14. Ok thanks, if you run coco right the plant growth is really explosive as long as your coco is buffered and feed right with right pH.
I used canna brick coco which is already buffered but I buffer it again just to know what I'm working with.
I use RO water with a ppm of 300 using calmag and pH it at 6.0

  18. Use what ever works for you, I like the air pots because I think the roots can breath better.
