If that 8gb isn't all music try deleting some apps you don't use. When I jailbroke my 32gb I once had 180 apps that took up 13gb, I only used about 10 often. And if your that kind of person that just downloads whole albums because you like the artist, try going through those and deleting the songs you don't really like. The most songs I have from any single album is 4.
Yea it's all music lol I just figured out you can sync however much you want to the iPod so it's allll good
