  2. PRESS RELEASE - For Immediate Release
    Date: February 18, 2010
Internet Television / Webcast Focuses on Colorado's Medicinal Marijuana Issues

New, Interactive Webcast allows viewers to join in conversation via chat and video to express their views on Medicinal Marijuana use. Show airs every Thursday night at 7pm MDT on www.MedicinalMarijuana.TV

Centennial, CO - Using the broadcasting power of the Internet, one Colorado company has begun to "air" a weekly talk-show style webcast that helps viewers evaluate the different treatment methods and options available to legal, Medical Marijuana card holders in Colorado. The show "airs" from a link on the website www.MedicinalMarijuana.TV each Thursday at 7pm MDT.

The show is hosted by Colorado locals (and Medical Marijuana patients) Aeryn Haze and Max Montrose who were chosen from a large number of applicants for their knowledge, community involvement and particular medical issues that make them ideal spokespersons for a growing population of medical marijuana users. Unliketraditional "one way" broadcasts - the technology used to deliver this particular webcast allows viewers to become part of the show in more ways than one.

Viewers are prompted to go to "The Grow Room" and sign up for access to a social-networking component to the show that allows them much of the functionality of MySpace, Facebook and other popular social networking websites - but with one major difference: users can then join in the chat occurring on the show LIVE and pose questions to the hosts in real time. Users must provide a verifiable email address, but may use any anonymous name or "handle" that they choose. For those that wish to embrace the experience at an even deeper level - the show accepts LIVE Skype® calls that utilize both audio and video.

Using the free Skype® service, viewers can actually join the discussion as if they were in the studio from the comfort of their desktop or laptop computer. Guests who are unable to travel or people in remote locations can now appear as if they were in the studio with the hosts. Weekly archives of the show are posted on the website and those who miss the live show can view a "replay". All of the services and functionality of the show are available for free to the general Internet-connected public.

"By using Skype® and our chat functionality, we're really able to reach out to the community in a very meaningful way and address issues that traditional media might shy away from" states host Max Montrose "With this open and anonymous line of communication, we feel we can help those with significant questions about this new course of treatment. We're not here to offer medical advice, but we can act as a sounding board and connecting base for sufferers of all kinds of maladies who are getting relief using marijuana". For more information:
