Medical MJ Dispensary

    Okay, so I live in MA. They had a medical MJ bill up for discussion, I have no idea what happened to it. If it passes and they allow dispensaries to be set up, how would I go about doing that? What would the steps be (generally, not looking for full on detailed steps) and how would one make money from that? Aren't they nonprofit? Or do they make some profit off it? Just a theoretical question, you see.

    There's no way of knowing what the legalities will be until the bill is passed, so hold your horses.

    Well I know that, but I'm wondering if it would be the same as any other business. Would it be just like opening, say, a fast food place? I mean, yeah, you'd need different permits and stuff, but would it be the same general idea? Also, like I said, how would you make money off of that? Say I were in RI instead. Would it have to be a nonprofit?

    ya dude its just like any other store. Its like just going to any other store but there is weed everywhere! in a bunch of bags and jars and is fucking fun as hell. but the bill will not be passed trust me.

    Why not? The decrim was passed by a pretty good margin, why wouldnt the MMJ pass? I think it has a fair chance of being passed, seeing as RI already has passed it and has passed the bill allowing compassion centers.
