Medical Marijuana for Chronic Anxiety

Discussion in 'Medical Marijuana Usage and Applications' started by JudahBen, Aug 8, 2008.

  1. I smoke marijuana illegally recreationally, but also because some times I get very anxious. Every now and then I find that my heart rate quickens and my head races with thoughts about life or what I'm doing. For instance, sometimes when I am studying I get so anxious and distracted worrying about how I am going to do that I contract time from actually working. Similar things happen when I try to go to sleep, my mind races and I think about different things and take hours to fall asleep. I seem to get tense and worrisome pretty easily. Sometimes it gets so severe that I don't get anyhing done for a whole day, because I am dreading a single, relatively insignificant thing

However, when I smoke certain types of marijuana it relieves much of the tension. But some strains of marijujana I find actually make it worse. Do you think I am eligible for Marjiuana. Also, I have never told my doctor because I don't like taking pharmaceuticals. Do you think this would be a problem?
