so I've suffered from awful panic attacks for several years now. I was diagnosed with ptsd, depression and severe anxiety. It runs in my family and I've seen What meds do to a person and their reliance on it after time. Aside from seeing all that I decided I would try medications because it's gotten to a point where I've lost 10lb due to lack of appetite or being unable to eat due to anxiety as well as lost hours of sleep. They put me on Antidepressants which I started taking and upped my dose accordingly. When I started taking the full pill I had a horrible reaction and awful panic attack to the point where my parents were going to take me to the ER. Personally I'm agains meds and don't like putting unnatural things in my body, I rarely even take pain meds due to this. My mother has her medical card and weed has been the only thing that has helped her with stomach issues, She uses cbd oils, edibles and occasionally smokes.

I've seen that there's a way for minors to get their card if their guardians allow it. Honestly I just want to find something natural that will help me manage my anxiety, eat more and sleep more. I don't really want to smoke it due to my family members suggesting I don't until my brain fully develops. personally for me edibles take way to long to work and by the time they do my anxiety has passed. I would appreciate hearing others experiences of treating anxiety with medical marijuana. I'd also like to know if vaporizing it would be an option?

  2. You have to be 18 to be here.

Smoking/vaping certainly helps my anxiety attacks and a lot of my other problems. I agree that edibles would be pointless most of the time. (I also have PTSD, social anxiety, etc).

I think in most states you can get a card underage if you have permission from parent/guardian and doctor.

    Good luck.

  3. Naming prescription meds is also against forum rules btw :)

  4. Thank you for telling me!

  5. black pepper... fresh whole black peppercorns alleviate anxiety! it is the beta caryophyllene terpene in the pepper that acts on cannabinoid receptors just like cannabis does... it is called cannabimimetics ( look it up and educate your elders!)...
freshly ground black pepper with lots of smells only works not preground pepper... with a mortar pestle you grind and smell it or just chew on one or two peppercorns when you need relief...
look into balancing your omega fat consumption too as doing that balances your endogenous cannabinoid capabilities giving a buffer for when you need cb receptor signalling... you want a balacne of omega three to omega six... Good luck!

  6. I have to say the pepper thing is accurate. I keep a container of organic ground black pepper near by always. If I feel a little strong effects of the thc some deep breathing, cold water and some deep whiffs of black pepper and in 10 minutes all is good!! Try it, you won't believe it until you do.
