Medical marijuana card & employers

    I have my medi card out here and IF i do not pass my DT tomorrow, what are the chances my new employer will accept a medi card with the note from the doc as a valid excuse? pretty slim probably??

    i dont know all of the details out in cali but it only sounds fair for them to accept that as an excuse, however i think you should tell the employer before the dt

    You should tell him this. I use this medicine for (insert reason here) and I strictly use it for medicinal purpose only. I do not let it affect my work ability ever. If you would like me to stop using this medicine, I will consult with my doctor and see if I can get another way to treat it.


    I highly doubt he will make you stop if you say this, and if he does, just get clean, pass the dt, and then start smoking but just dont get caught.
