I broke my female piece and I want to get all this right so when I order a new piece it fits. I measured by current down tube and its a total of 15.1 cm long, but that is including the female piece, when I measure the part that goes into the water pipe it's only 9cm long. Which one is the proper measurement? The whole piece or just the stem without the female end? Also when measuring the water pipe's female nozzle do you only measure the hole or do you include the thickness of the piece?
