I have read some conflicting posts on messuring cab temperatures accurately. Should i place my digi termometer out of direct cfl light, or should i place it where the plant is under the light?
Under the light at plant-top height. That is what the plants are experiencing so that is what you want to measure.
Found another use for the digital thermometer I got like the one in the link below and thats for reading the water temp the bubble cloner I just made. It gives the same temp reading as the temp reading on my Bluelab combo meter and more accurate then the cheap aquarium temp gauge thingy in the bubble cloner. Also use it every now and then for my indoor plants to double check the temps at canopy level under the lights. Non-Contact Laser Thermometer
