  1. Anyone that has any info on this machine?? Please share your experience

  2. I own two and have not used them in years since I learned cold ethanol extraction

I think the best way for you to get the info you need is to give us some information
Is it legal where you are?
If not do you have a reliable source for cannabis?
Is cost an issue, for both the cannabis and the method you choose for extraction?
What do you have access to? Coconut oil, MCT oil, grain alcohol
A little background can help us give you info you can use
If you cannot get high proof ethanol then we can leave out that method of extraction

  3. Thank you for your answer.
I'm going to answer all your questions to the best of my hability.
Yes. it is legal-let's say it's a loophole, a legal void when It comes to weed dispensaries and its comsumption inside of them here in Spain.
I do hace a reliable source. Costa IS not an issue. I hace access yo coconut oil and butter. All i want to do is learn how to make bakegoods and gummies for now. Thank you so much for your help!

  4. Ok
Here is the decision you have to make
Aside from the MBM there is the Levo 2 and several other machines that can do the extractions
    Some may even decarb
The problem with the MBM is the amount of oil you have to use
2 cups if I remember correctly, so that means you have to use a bit of flower to make a potent oil
Other devices require less oil so it pays to look around

I make all kinds of crazy edibles from flavored infused syrup in gel drops to cakes and pies infused with 1-2 teaspoons of infused oil
I'm still kind of new to this but one thing I can tell you is that you want to cram as many cannabinoids into as little oil as possible
This makes infusing recipes a lot easier as you can use any recipe and make minor adjustments or sometimes none at all because you are only adding several drops of oil to a full cake recipe for example

There are others that may work better and cost less

If cost is not an issue you may consider a device like the Ardent FX for decarb
My edibles potency went up a lot with proper decarb
Electric stove top for doing tincture (ethanol) reductions

  5. Okay... So with the levo I would just put the oil and the flowers un AMD It would come out ready yo cook with. Correct? The idea of the drops of oil instead of butter i a better way to go than mine. Could you expand some more? Also if i were to make crispy treats for example i would add the drops into the butter/marshmallow mixture?

  6. The flower may need a decarb first if the machine does not do it but basically yes
You will have an infused oil that is ready for use

One thing to familiarize yourself with is emulsion
You want to use lecithin in your oil mixture as it helps the coconut and cannabis oil to mix and become available for uptake (separate subject)
This uptake is referred to as bioavailability, again not really important to know the whole story here
Also the lecithin will help the infused oil to incorporate into most recipes

I use liquid but either one will work
If you use powder take a drop and mix the powder into it and work it in from there
Add a drop at a time of coconut oil until it is fluid enough to work into the rest of the oil
The trick to edibles is having the first edible be as potent as the last edible in a batch
Even distribution of the cannabis oil through the edible batch

Edit: Any access to concentrates like RSO syringes?

Nylon coffee filters work well for filtering your oil

  10. It IS just so overwhelming. There are so many ways and so much information. I would like to purchase the right equipment for a beginner that gives good results and little by little learn more. In the beginning I want to make brownies, rice crispy treats, cookies and gummies. I asume they all work with the infused coconut oil that you make. Would you go through the process a little with me and tell me what I need to buy yo get started?

  11. Ok
I assume its flower we want to work with in your case
For first timers I recommend something very simple
    Chocolates
Gummies have a habit of not setting if you do not have culinary experience
You work your way at up the ladder

So look up as many devices as you can and compare
I cannot recommend any of them since I do not use them but many skip the MBM because of the 2 cup oil issue
The MBM worked well when I did use it but my oil was very weak
Use 3X or more of the cannabis recommendations

Its only overwhelming in the very beginning
As we narrow your focus it will be easier
