Maximizing my grow space

Discussion in 'Grow Room Design/Setup' started by Fort Oney, Dec 10, 2005.

  1. So I've never grown anything yet, and I went out and measured my grow space today. I am confined to 15" wide x 25" deep x however tall the plant grows (I'm guessing 4 feet would be safe? Let me know if I'm right.)

    My questions are:
Could I fit 2 plants in such a small space?
What would the ideal light source be? (I'm thinking 250w HPS)

    Thanks.

  2. If you did fit two plant in there, it would be really tight and the pots would have to be fairly small. 250 watt HPS should be plenty for two plants. The light would have a hard time getting to the lower branches though becuase its so tight in the box.

You could always go with one plant and do a scrog. That way the plant will spread out and you'll still maximize your space. You'd be increasing yield to.
