Never too much light

 

If you have the space for a full 1000W light, I'd go for it. Mine *barely* covers my 45" x 45" space, you would have very solid canopy cover. BUT, you could definitely get away with a 600W and be fine and there are some cost advantages and such that might make that a better choice. If cost isn't an issue, go LED.

I have that same tent. It can take a 1K if you have air cooled hood no prob at all.
