Max intake of acetaminophen?

Whats the max amount of acetaminophen you can safely ingest at once? Because I enjoy taking tramadol and I'm really low on Ultram. However, I have a bunch of Ultracets, but ultracets have 325 mg's of acetaminophen per each 37.5 mg of tramadol (one pill). Thanks for the help.

I assure you that Paracetamol is the exact same thing as acetaminophen

But be aware that any amount will cause liver damage (perhaps of small impact) but it accumulates over time.

The amounts that this article discusses cause "major hepatotoxicity" which equates a fatal or near-fatal dose and does not represent the 'safe' dosage.

Paracetamol has a narrow therapeutic index – the therapeutic dose is close to the toxic dose. Additionally, paracetamol is contained in many preparations (both over-the-counter and prescription only medications). This means that, despite being one of the safest analgesics available at recommended doses, there is a large potential for overdose and toxicity.

Paracetamol single doses above 10 grams or chronic doses over 5 grams per day in a well-nourished non-consumer of alcohol, or above 4 grams per day in a poorly-nourished chronic alcohol consumer, can cause major hepatotoxicity (damage to the liver). Without timely treatment, paracetamol overdose can lead to liver failure and death within days. Because of the wide over-the-counter availability of the drug, it is sometimes used in suicide attempts by those unaware of the prolonged timecourse and high morbidity associated with paracetamol-induced toxicity.
