Math behind laced weed w/ good avoiding tips

    This thread is for the purpose of people not being so paranoid about getting a laced bag. Sit back and enjoy a little math lesson :hello:

    Okay so it might be common sense that a dealer will lose money if he laces weed and doesnt tell you because he will lose out on whatever extra he puts in. But have you ever broken it down?

    Let's start with a 10 gram bag. The price is $100. Now if this is a bag of 100% weed it is 10 bucks a g.

    Now I've never bought or used any other type of drug besides cannabis so bear with me on my prices (I got them as a average off the internet).

    Cocaine ($50-60 a gram): So your dealers got 10 bags of weed with 10 grams each and 10 grams of coke. Say he adds .5 grams of coke to each bag. He's gotta take .5 bud out of each bag and add .5 of coke so make the weight the same. In the end he's got ten 10 gram bags of laced weed for $100 each. 5 grams of bud and 5 of coke. Now he sells all this and gets $1300. But what if he sold all this without lacing? 10 bags X $100= $1000 for the weed and $50-60 X 10= $500-600, totaling $1500-$1600. A difference of $200!

    PCP ($20-30 for a powder gram): Let's up the quantity and imagine your dealer is big time and has 500 grams of weed and 50 grams of PCP. Same scenario, 10 gram bags of bud @ $100 each. And he's gonna lace it with .5 of PCP. So in the end he'll have 50 bags of laced weed, 25 grams of bud and 25 grams of PCP. When he sells it it'll come out to be $5000 + $250 + $500-750 for a total of $5750-6000. But if he didnt lace it he would potentially make $5000 + $20-30 X 50 = $6000-$6500. A difference of $500! Now imagine if that was coke, the difference would be a couple grand.

    So to sum it up, even though your dealer may not be the smartest guy you know. There is one thing he's better than you at, knowing the metric system and converting grams to money. He's got at least a part-time job dealing if he handles any decent quantity and how many times do you see people trying to lose money instead of make it when they're working? Never!

    Below are also a few tips:

    1. Always remember, your dealer is out to make the most profit he can.
    2. If the bag is weighed right and you'd expect to pay the same amount for the same type of bud from someone else, it's almost guaranteed not laced.
    3. If someone is trying to sell you mids, or any bud for that matter, for some crazy high price think twice. You don't want to get ripped off even if it's not laced.
    4. If your worried, Smell the bag! Most other drugs (not all) have somewhat of a smell and if you don't smell 100% marijuana goodness you might be in for a little higher of a high than you first expected.
    5. Look at the weed. Who doesn't like to take the biggest bud out of a fresh bag and look it over?!

    okay i'm just going to clarify this for every single toker out there. you didn't get laced weed, ever. Weed being laced is a myth, there's no taking .5 out to put .5 of coke in. It just doesn't happen.

    You don't have laced weed, you've never had laced weed and you never will have laced weed. end of discussion.

    if someone is charging a lot for mids, they are trying to rip you off. they aren't charging more because it's laced either. also if you get shorted, it's not because your bud is laced, it's because your dealers shady.

    just thought i'd clear this up for everyone.

    edit: ALSO if your dealers tells you it's laced so it costs more, tell him he's a liar and just wants more money.

    it doesnt happen people.

    the only people who "lace" anything with weed, are the people about to smoke the laced bowl. Not the dealers hahaha

    Yeah for real what kind of dealer would give away .5 of more expensive drugs rather than some weed? Common sense. Dealers are dealers for reasons. They want the money. Some are greedy , some aren't. I don't think a dealer would rid of more expensive drugs just to get an extra buck off some pot.

    fosho. I mean i know people that have sprinkled oxycontin, coke and heroin on their bowls. For personal use i guess.

    But the bottom line is:

    a lot of dealers are users their selves. one of the reasons they probably got pushed to dealing is to support their own habbit. When a dealer sells to support his own habbit, your bound to get shorted a couple times etc. <-- and that's with weed that's not laced. If a dealer got ahold of coke, pcp, heroin or any other drug they would do 1 of 2 things. Sell that drug as is or use it their selves.

    it's not hard to wrap your mind around. people that say they smoke laced weed and shit are probably just newbies with a low tollerance that want attention

    this subjects stupidity really angers me

    guess i'll smoke another 1 :smoke:

    Alright frst you have to have personal knowledge with other substances before you can come up with this.

    Nobody in there right mind would buy a bag of .5 bud with .5 coke on it. Why? first of all you hardly get any effect from the coke just maybe a numbed mouth like if you put some on the tip of your cig filter. You need to convert it to a smokable form and the way you smoke crack is way differnt then bud.

    And I've never seen bud laced with pcp(I know its been done though). Now a days most dealers tryin to move pcp put it on cigarettes.

    I guarentee it will never happen, and if it did the smell of pcp would be obvious and if it was coke it would be obvious too cause you shake the bud itll most likely just fall off into the bag.

    I know I don't have personnel knowledge in "hard" drugs, I have a high amount of knowledge in weed but next to nothing in anything else. I was just using the .5's and other stuff so it could be easily followed and make a point without the math getting all confusing.

    i didn't mean it to be so offensive..? what i mean is the people who say "oh this bud has white stuff all over it, must be laced" that's false and those people are just dummy's.

    i know someone has sold laced weed or laced it themselves but the chances of that are like 1/500

    no what i mean?

    Your right on that one. The chances of getting a laced bag without asking for a laced bag would be like walking into Wal-Mart and grabbing a cheap microwave and an expensive one, and then have a worker come up to you and be like "Hey just take that expensive one out of the box and put in the cheap box, you get more for your money." .... It will never happen!

    Ya dude I basically agreed with how it makes no sense to lace bud. I already forgot what I posted I was just puttine my personal opinion of how its ridiculous to assume your buds been laced.:smoke::smoke:

    I thought before you said every bag is never laced ever...?

    Those threads 'annoy' me also, but people have a right to be mistrustful of a product that they don't buy in a controlled environment. Especially a product that you plan on putting into your body.

    EDIT: and 1/500 would actually be freakishly common considering the amount of bags in the world purchased every day. Think about it.

    Yes exactly. I think the only scenario you should be worried your bud is laced is if you walk into an old abandoned house with a bunch of junkies and one hands you a bag of weed and you smoke it and wake up with a sore ass

    who the fuck are you to come into this thread and attack me? what i've posted are my opinions, if you don't like them then don't fucking read them dude. I tried to be cool about it and explain why i said what i said. But then you come back and find something else to complain about.

    why are you trying to disprove me? or be so uptight like: Those threads 'annoy' me also.

    To be honest, i'm less worried about people putting other drugs in my weed than I am about people spraying lynx or putting cat piss on the weed I get. It's far more common over here for that to happen.
