Matches or lighters?

dude thats cool but i dont like the taste of a match. not much better than the bic butane though

 

I prefer matches over lighters, but lighters are easier to obtain.

 

I prefer wooden matches!

 

If I'm smoking bowls, I use matches, but I'll use a lighter if I'm smoking a joint or blunt.

 

Idk if matches are actually bad for you or if it just tastes bad but i HATE using them. Its disgusting, and it burns bad too. I only use them if I absolutely have to and I realllllly want to smoke. And then what Ill do is light the match and then with the match light a toothpick so its only wood thats burning and then light the bowl with the toothpick.

Or, if you are able to, you can light a candle with one match and then just light the toothpicks with the candle. Then it smells good too, and not like matches, gross.

 

Never used matches to smoke, but I'd give it a try. Also (i'm pretty sure you would know this), but on a really sunny day, just use a magnifying glass.

 

I'll light my next joint with a match and report back.

 

since when do diners have free matches? Sounds like you're still living in the 50's OP


but matches have terribly harsh chemicals that allow it to light, I wouldn't want to inhale that..

Matches are bad for you. Shitloads of chemicals that burn off of a match. I wouldn't inhale that. Use a bic or even invest in some wick line. Wrap it around your lighter and just light the line. Much much better

 

i tried only using matches for a bit but when your stoned you keep lighting them because its fun and then suddenly you dont have fire for the bong

 

Right, so I finally remembered to do this. Went outside to spark up my J, struck a match and gave it a second to burn the nastier stuff off, then the flame blew out.

So I said fuck it and whipped out a bic.

Lol iused a magnifying glass a few weeks ago. The smoke tastes better than wen uusin a lighter there isnt that butane taste you get with lighters just pure weed.

I prefer lighters, less hassle really. Wooden matches are alright but burn crazy quick.

 

I use both, lighter ran out so matches it is.
