Massive sative help!!! Pros only plz

    Ok so I have a single sativa dominate. its just a bag seed 50 days into flower,this thing has some massive colas that are falling everywhere. Is it ok if the buds are resting against this piece of string??? Or will it damage or stunt the buds.these things look like their an oz per cola. This thing is 4ft tall and I have had to bend it a little during flower. And pro advice would be nice

    I can't tell what I'm looking at. Take a better picture of the whole plant. Get stakes to support the colas.

    I'm in hydro and the thing is 5ft tall.
    In the pic the colas are kinda mushed togeather, but the string is pressing against the sides. Is this ok?

    I can't get a full pic because the top 3ft of my box is enclosed. Lol sry

    If its all mushed in there tight I'd start worrying about mold.
    String each cola up however you want to.
    Or put in bamboo stakes and tie em to those.
    Better pics would help for advice specific to your grow..

    Sry man like I said space issues give me bad pics. Their not smushed bad just kinda touching one another so your saying try to separate the a little?

    Just make sure you've got enough air circulating between the colas. Should be fine.

    yes dude your fine...I've had huge sativas that I had to build a wooden frame to support the colas, they fell everywhere!!...just make sure it's resting on an area that isn't crushing a flower cluster(bud)! try to get them situated so the STEM is resting on the string...your right you can't use stakes!? what are you going to stake then into?? the plastic hydro tub? (duh) next time do a screen!!, or you can still even run as many strings or wires ACROSS your grow area to support those babys. BTW they grow FINE sideways...I have grown buds that drooped over upside down!! just keep them up, and in the light as much as possible. And yes, keep them APART, and air moving.

    Ahh thanks a lot man. I was worried because some are sideways hahaha that girl grew so damn tall then exploded at the top. I didn't even top her and it has these massive top colas that are just falling down lol. Again thanks a lot for the advice. From what I have seen on here will do a scorg next time.

    This is a pic of one of the med size ones. It seems like this will have a high yield. What's your usual yield of a decent sativa I'm in a hydro system with flora 3 part. Hydroplex enhancer and 400 watt hps.

    Can you imagine what happened to THIS one when those branches all filled in.?
    A scaffolding had to basically be built!!:eek: Yes, that is ONE plant!!

    Wow. That's bad ass man. I have noticed it takes much longer for the sativa to flower..... I'm in month 2..... How much longer can I expect?

    In my experience, those Bigger colas dry out to anywhere from 7 to 12 grams. DRy weight. JUst count them, but yeah it's hard to tell, kind of.

    yeah they take forever, you can always cut her down to 11 or 10 even 9 hours dark, once you are satisfied with bud development, (to speed her along)..watch your trichs...don't chop her to early...NOTHING, and I mean NOTHING beats a well grown SATIVA high...(at least for me) good luck!! looks great BTW

    Thanks man. Should I drop her to 9hrs of light or just finish her out at 12? What would you do?

    I looked at your picture of the flower again closely, and It's hard to get an idea of where the buds are at in development...it looks pretty veggie, or still pretty early in development..you know?.., Certain sativas have like a 4 month flower period or something...
