Hi all For someone with a tight budget. What would be better for veg. A 250 MH or a Mars Hydro TS600 and is the difference in performance of the plant noticeable. The veg space is a 2x2 and the plant would be flowered under a 250 hps. People’s own experiences and thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. D
Under veg I prefer 420- 460nm mixed with full spectrum preferably with UVA and UVB but definitely the nanometer blues supplemented. The mars has 660nm you really don't need the reds for veg. I'd personally go with a 100watt veg light from horticulture lighting group that's equal to the mars in wattage but hlg is a better quality light.
