Marjuana In School Paper

Discussion in 'Seasoned Marijuana Users' started by Tomasko, Oct 7, 2004.

  1. Hey,

We have a school paper, and we are free to write, or submit anything we want in it, either anonomously, or by name. I want to write something about legalization, or the joy of this wonderful herb. What would you guys include to promote marjuana in a non "drug" fashion, because as well al know...its not a drug!

    Thanks,

    -Tom Stoner

  2. We did a spread on pot a couple of years ago. We even had a survery of how many people had tried it. About 50% of the high school had, and some 75% thought it led to other drugs... we had people that said they started smoking at age 8. Some of them, I even believe.

  3. back in the days of highschool my english / socials teacher would always talk about marijuana. Some kid asked him if he smoked it and he said only for the medical purposes ofcoarse.

that was so funny, y can't college teachers b e like that.

  4. I posted this once on a stupid american site about weed, and how much it's destroying lives... stories there like 'a friend of mine committed suicide because of marijuana' and crap.

Hi there. I'm a Dutch boy, age 18. I smoke pot. I do it often, almost every day. Am I addicted? Tell me. But if you tell me, then give your definition of what addiction is. Is it stealing for money to buy your weed? And is it every minute of the day trying to smoke some? Well, in that case, I can assure you that I am not an addict. I'm still in school and getting good grades.
I live in the Netherlands. Weed isn't forbidden here. I know there are a lot of people who think that is very bad. But compare Holland to other coutries and we are not nr.1 Pot Smoker. Our goverment chose to control it, not to make it illegal. If you really want weed or other drugs, you can get it, if your goverment wants it or not. So isn't it a smart move? I think so. And no, my mind isn't completely controlled by drugs.
I have a lot of fun with my friends, smoking pot or not. Than I hear you say, 'why smoke pot then?'. I can understand that question. But let me ask you a question. Why would you get drunk on a party when you can have a good time without drinking? And remember, alcohol is a drug too.And a much worse drug too, for example: alcohol is the no. 1 cause of death under teens in Europe.
I smoke weed for fun. I see it as a period in my life, for which I don't feel regret. Thereby do I have some very good and responsible friends, and we watch each other. You don't have to be a stupid junk to smoke. And for the argument that weed is just an 'opening drug' for crack and so forth... that is nonsense, that fully depends on your own strong (or weak) will. I smoke for a year and a half now, and I have never tried something else. I won't ever try something else. That I know of myself. And for the addiction itself... my friends and I, by means of an experiment, stopped smoking pot for a month. No sweat, no worries, no nothing. So... take it easy on the addiction scale with weed.
I type this for you guys to see another view of the subject. I don't want to insult anyone, I just hope that you look at it from another side. But well, here it is...and I am awaiting your comment!

Of course, it was never on the site... stupid anti-stoner fucks... I was trying to be as objective as possible...
Oh, and in your article... emphasise the differences between accepted alcohol and illegal marijuana! People get agressive when they're drunk, people get relaxed when stoned. You don't get a resistance from weed (at least not much) but you need more alcohol every time to get drunk... and alcohol is more expensive, more deadly, more STUPID than drugs! I'm sorry... it's just so wrong to see that in the rest of the world the differences in toleration are so dumb.

  5. Biem, thats so funny! I love it, it's 100% true too, amazing. I totally agree, I am actually beating my head when I say this: I DONT UNDERSTAND NARROW MINDED NON-TOKERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's almost impossible to comprehend. I read the article Does America Have A Weed Problem , and I was shocked, elroypornlab, your a dedicated stoner baby!

  6. of course it's a drug.. don't be a fool..

  7. Naw maaaannnnnnnn, a drug in my mind, is something that is man-made, or chemical. I know thats not the oxford definition, but it's mine. Marijuana is a herb, provided by mother nature for us to smoke.

  8. i remember way back in the day in 6th grade before i even smoked...........we had to take these stupid ass tests i cant remember what they were called but it was some state thing........i had gone to jamaica for the first time and i wrote a 2 page thing all about ganja.........lol..........imagine readin that.......a report about smokin ganj from a 6th grader........ :smoke: ..........

  9. uh...no. anything that alters your state of mind is a drug, illegal or not. what we need to do thought is take the word "drug" and not make it so vile and displeasing, because drugs can help, and some more than others *cough*herb*cough*.

oh, and in your paper, mention somethng about how in holland, the use of harder drugs than mj has gone down by soemthing like 30% since mj was legalized. look that up though, im not sure bout exact figures.
