Hey everyone hoping for some clarity on my experiences. I am a daily smoker usually vape pens and On several different occasions my body has gone into “shock” after smoking or consuming marijuana. My symptoms: extreme tension behind skull and chest, violent shaking and uncontrollable jaw chattering, slurred speech, a feeling of not being myself, unregulated body temperature from hot to cold, vomiting and extreme fear. Last night after one bong hit we called the paramedics because this was happening to me for two hours, coming in waves. My vitals were all normal when the EMS arrived but I’m beginning to think it may be serotonin toxicity. On one occasion I completly blacked out (after an edible and while juicing) my electrolytes were severely off when paramedics came so could have been marijuana or unbalanced diet. All in all maybe 8 experiences over 4 years with these weird body experiences. Has anyone experienced something similar before?

  2. Nope marijuana just isn't for you.. why waste a paramedics time over weed.. it's never killed anyone & probably never will.

Just don't smoke again.. it's people like you that make pot heads look like Billys.

  3. You shouldn't smoking dude I'm sorry. If cannabis brings you fear then it isn't for you. This sounds like you could have possible mental illness being onset by THC. Some people's minds don't work well with cannabis. You need to seek advice from a real doctor instead some stoners this sounds serious and, worrying.

  5. I am truly sorry it didn't work out for you though man. One my best friends can never use cannabis again because, it freaks him out and, makes em paranoid.

  6. Sounds like a green out mixed with an anxiety/panic attack, but to be sure get a doctor to check you out like @MTMLSandman420 mentioned.

  7. It’s been 8 times in 4 years, I’m a regular daily smoker and it’s not the norm but it has happened, that’s why I’m looking to see if others have experienced similarly. Last night was one of those scary nights. The fear is not from the marijuana but rather fear of these Neurological episodes. Looking for people with similar experience and the possibility of seratonin toxicity. I am planning to take some time off.

  8. Thanks! I was in the ER this morning all vitals were normal and the drs are stunned themselves. Planning to take some time away from miss Mary Jane. If I have built up toxicity it’s time I flushed it out. I do use the vape pens a lot maybe it’s the shit they put inside?

  9. Ohhhhh..... okay sorry I thought you only smoked 8 times. But yeah a real doc may still be able to help just to make sure you're not experiencing anything unusual outside of the episode. However my brother has a similar experience to yours but, is very shy and, wouldn't touch a forum with a 10 foot pole. lol

But from what I can tell he just needed a t-break and, some time to mentally prepare himself to keep calm with higher dosages of THC.

  10. Billies are getting creative with these paranoid stories ffs

  12. I am a daily smoker, I didn’t call them because I was stoned I called them because I was exhibiting serious neurological symptoms of a potential stroke. these are not normal events to happen, to anyone. Not sure what your Billy’s statement means...

  15. That’s the thing, this isn’t paranoia it is a toxic response, when your body forcefully makes you throw up and go to the bathroom and your slurring your speech something is seriously wrong. I smoke all day every day I’m not a novice, by any means. It’s also been making my eyes blurr lately too, my only thought is a need a break to reset my body. Very scary to have this happen.

  16. Yes I agree it’s time for a Reboot. I hope my body is not trying to tell me to stop because I use it for medical purposes. Usually I have a wonderful experience even if I’ve eaten edibles smoked and vaped. Time to detox

  18. You may of had bud treated with pesticide and, then the grower didn't flush it properly.

  19. Thanks for your response I sure hope not, but will honor if my body wants no more of it
