I've got a bit of a weird situation and I need some advice. I got a marijuana possession ticket for being in my friend's car while he was smoking weed. I didn't smoke any weed nor was the weed mine but I still got the ticket. My court date is coming up in 2 weeks and my friend is going to testify and tell the judge that the weed belonged to him. Do you guys think I'll be able to get off without a charge? I live in Los Angeles if that makes any difference.
Nit sure, but if you live in Cali then its decriminalised, so you wont get in as much trouble as here in Texas. We get jail time and a max 6000 dollar fine, so even if you do get a ticket, you're still pretty well off considering the amount of trouble you COULD get in if you lived somewhere else
