marijuana lollipop recipes?

Discussion in 'Seasoned Marijuana Users' started by creep3, Oct 16, 2007.

  1. Does anyone happen to have one that they know works for sure. I have 2 lbs of dro canna butter and 1 lb of hash canna butter to work with. I like cooking with weed and i thought i would maybe venture to try and make some lollipops. I have scoured the web and i have yet to find a definitive working recipe.

    Thanks

  2. I dont know if you can make it with cannibutter, but you could probably do it with molasses or chocolate.

  3. There was something on here a while ago about making lollipops or suckers or something like that.

Just find a recipe for what you're trying to make ... then incoroporate the grass in the fatty part (vege oil, whatever else there is).

Here are the ingredients according to http://www.cooks.com/rec/view/0,177,150176-253198,00.html:

    2 c. sugar
    2/3 c. light corn syrup
    3/4 c. water
    Oil flavors (optional)
    Color (optional)

In a saucepan, blend sugar, corn syrup, and water. Bring to a boil over high heat, until mixture reaches 290 degrees. Remove pan from heat. Allow to stand until bubbles have simmered down. Add flavoring and color as desired. Too much stirring will cause syrup to solidify into a hard sugary lump. Mold into desired shapes in Pam-sprayed hard candy molds. Work fast.

Keep mixture warm over hot water. If mixture becomes too cold and thick it may be warmed for a few seconds in microwave. Put sucker sticks in molds before pouring mixture.

I think before adding the light corn syrup, you would just cook the bud in the light corn syrup for a while hoping to extract the THC. Like ... possibly cook it in a pan on low heat (the syrup) and add as much bud as you like. Let it cook for 25 minutes or so to extract all the THC (or until the bud is dark dark black and the syrup is tan in color). Then let the contents cool slightly, strain out the bud, and add the remaining syrup.

But this would only work if the THC disolves in Light corn Syrup.

And I don't know if it does.

  4. in that recipe you would use 2/3cup of cannabutter in place of corn syrup. probably produces a much richer flavor too.

  5. I'm not sure that would work. Anyway, here is a receipe for Butterscotch Space Pops. If you are not a fan of Butterscotch, just use a different flavoring. You will need to make marijuana tincture for it to work correctly.

  6. That seems very hard because most of those ingredients are too thick to properly strain.

  7. Thanks for the help so far. I have a few ideas now.
