First off, let me state this fact. I've been smoking pot every day for the past 3 years now. Sometimes like 15+ bowls a day. Lately it hasn't been as much, but I'm still a daily smoker. That said, let me tell you my life for the past 10 months. 10 months ago, I was living at my mom's house on a farm milking cows for a job. One day, I got really really tired of doing that, cause it really really sucks, so I got the motivation and decided to get a real job. I went into town, and drove around. I drove past a pizza place, I thought to myself; "a pizza place? yea, i guess i can make pizzas, that'd be a cool job". So I went inside and asked for an application, the manager said wait around 2 minutes and he'll give me an interview. 2 minutes later he hires me on the spot as a dishwasher/deliviry driver. I know most people think its a shitty job, but its 1000x better than milking cows. Anyways, about 5 months later I did some yard work for the owner of the store, thats when he saw that I was a really hard worker. He comes in the next day and says "hey, you want another job?" "ummm, suure..." i reply. So as it turns out, he got me a job at a health club. My job is i sit there for 5-8 hours saying hello and goodbye to people. It's really boring, but it's easy and it pays ok. About 3 months ago, at the pizza place, the manager got tired of working there and quit. So the owner approaches me and offers me the position. I accept. So now I'm the manager of a pizza restaurant. And I'm doing a good job at it. I still work at the health club a couple days a week. And what do you know, the manager is quitting and I've been offered the position. So now I'm the manager of a health club too. And I'm doing a good job at it too. In summary, I'm 19 years old, I manage 2 businesses, I smoke weed every day, and I'm making about $55,000/year. I didn't write this to gloat or anything, I just wrote it because like, you can still do good in life if you smoke weed. All it takes is hard work and determination. Smoke on

God damn man, i cant even get a damn job right now. Every place i go to says the same shit to me after 2 weeks of me being interviewed "Oh, well we want someone with more flexible hours then you" I am willing to work from 4 AM to 11 AM (Gotta go to school from 12-5 (class is from 1-4 but it takes an hour each way) and so Im stuck without a job at the moment, But gratz to you.
Amazingly refreshing story. I bet it was a lot better than milking cows, but why did the manager choose you, over other employees? Maybe there were none.
he chose me, because every day I come into work on time and with a smile. I try my absolute hardest to the best job that I can.
wow, if i had two jobs Id probably be smoking mad weed too. Im just curious.... how many hours are you working at each job? Im also 19, I wish i could be putting $55,000 in the bank instead of putting myself in debt paying nearly $40,000 a year for school. congradulations man.
well, the health club doesn't require me to be there very much, its just a bunch of database entry and filing and shit. the pizza place takes a lot of my time, im needed a lot for the lack of customer service our employees have, also inventory is a bitch. both jobs combined, its like 60-70 hours a week.

Haha, aw man. I just read your awesome story and was thinking... that's pretty cool. Then I realized you live in FoCo... which is why I recognized your user name. But you wouldn't be speaking of pizza casbah would you? i may be a little off... but that'd be kind of cool. whatever the hell you're doing in FoCo that's badass and idk what you have against working at a farm though... all the farms where are pretty chill as hell. but then again i've never made a job of milking so i wouldnt know.

Lets fuckin smoke sometime man, Im seein more fort collins peeps on the city now. We should all have some massive fort collins grasscity member smokedown. Im in like the same position, got a killer ass job building signs, started me off at 10 an hour, Im apprenticing under my dad learning to bend neon, on top of tattooing which is pullin me in about 100-200 a weekend. Life is good, and pot just makes it that much better eh!
i dont think weed is bad for you at all, im a full time college student at UGA and have my own screen printing company which is doing very well...and im 19 as well...so those people out there whot hink they cant do it, you can! just gotta find something that motivates you...

Nah it's not pizza casbah. They're pizza is kinda gross imo, its like what, and 18" pizza for $5.00? I mean, for sure that's a steal of a deal, but the ingrediants for that must be pretty shitty. It's actually in Windsor, a town justa few miles south of Foco. Sadly, from recent circumstances I was forced to quit, but I still got the experience from doing it. Yea I'm down for smoking up with some GC members, unfortunatly I am atm computerless, im using one now on a friends comp. But yea, PM me, we'll try to set something up.
