The meeting between the White House and marijuana activists was very tepid at best. Apparently the activists met with two White House staffers who were instructed to nod politely and take notes. It was a first step though. According to the activists, the body language of the staffers were positive, so that alone says a lot about how the White House feels about the legalization movement in general.
