Marijauna to cure headaches

Discussion in 'Beginner Cannabis Consumption & Tips' started by GanjaSmoker, Mar 30, 2010.

  1. Do you find that smoking makes a headache go away?

  2. Smoking makes everything better. You should know that by now.

    But seriously it definitely does.

  3. Hell yeah. Fastest cure ever. Plus it's an excuse to get high!

  4. Cannabis the cure to everything.
Headache/migraine? Cannabis. Cold/flu? Cannabis. Bronchitis? Cannabis. Upset stomachs?Cannabis. Cancer? Cannabis.

Yep I'd say it fixes everything. Not to mention mental ailments like deppression, anxiety, insomnia.

But smoke is bad for you, so use it some other way.

  5. Better than Tylenol

  6. i get frequent migraines that would put a bear out and i smoke to try and cure them. it helps a lot while im high but i find i sober up faster and after im done smoking it goes back to hurting. i guess it would be good to get high then go to sleep so you dont have all the pain to deal with again.

i also get really lazy when ive got a migraine and that makes me not want to do anythng including loading a bowl.

  7. It makes any kind of pain go away.

  8. Yeah I've had this happen (pain coming back after coming down) so I just take an ibuprofen after I smoke so that it really goes away and isn't merely covered up by the high.

  9. If I can catch the headache right away, it'll usually go away with a couple hits. If not, an ice pack on the back of the neck near the base of your skull helps.

  10. I wouldn't agree with the statement that it helps everything. It can help a lot of sicknesses, but when you have a cold or flu it's better to lay off the herb. Also, you can get bronchitis from smoking while you have a cold or flu type sickness.

  11. I vape when I have a cold and can almost instantly breath threw my nose again but after the high is gone I get plugged up again.

  12. I used to get really bad headaches that no over the counter medicine got rid of and still do sometimes just not so often. Weed always got rid of them or at least made them much better. It's basically a cure all lol.

  13. Honestly even though I'm probably the only one, smoking gives me headaches often.
    Mainly on the comedown though.

  14. thats a good idea, im gonna try that next time i smoke with a headache, +rep

  15. Yeah, thanks for the rep bro. They don't effect each other at all so it's totally fine to do and seems to work for me (I don't get really bad headaches though).

  16. Exactly. Obviously the guy who quoted me didn't read the part about how smoke is bad. I alreAy know that smoking can help cause bronchitis.
When I had it, I vaped all the time and everytime it felt much better.

  17. I get really bad migraines with aura sometimes and I get really nauseous and throw up. I've taken Ibuprofen, Tylenol (regular and extra strength) Advil, Aleve, and even Topamax but the only thing that ever really worked was weed. Even smoking, got rid of the effects almost instantly and it got rid of the nausea and throwing up.

  18. Its the reason Im hitting the bong right now :bongin:

  19. Also, for migraines try Exedrin Migraine.

  20. I had bronchitis a couple weeks ago (Sharing a bong?) and it suckeddddd. Every hit i would have to cough up a fucking lung. It was sheer pain. What i did was go to my dads friends house and ask to trade his vape for a week and i gave him my bong for a week. Vape DEFINITELY is a lot more efficient to try to make sickness better.
